Qwery is built so that your business data stays in your own database and Qwery staff cannot read it. This page says what we do collect, why, and who it goes to.
We do not copy your database. Qwery reads it only to answer a question you ask, over a read-only session, and does not keep a copy of your tables. We do not store card numbers; payments are handled by a payment provider.
To answer a question we send our AI provider (Google's Gemini API) the question, your room's instructions, the names and types of the tables and columns it may use, and, to write the explanation, up to 30 result rows. Values that look personal (emails, phone numbers, and columns such as passwords, cards or dates of birth) are hidden in that sample before it is sent. We send only what an answer needs.
Business accounts: we never use your data, results or questions to train or improve models. Personal accounts: the text of questions you type may be used to improve Qwery. Your connected data and query results are never used for this.
We use only what the service needs: cookies that keep you signed in, record that you entered your emailed code, and note when you were last active (for the 4-hour inactivity sign-out), and a setting in your browser that remembers light or dark mode. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We keep account and usage records while your account is open. When you ask us to close it, we delete your account, conversations and connections, except records we must keep by law or for billing. Backups age out on their normal schedule.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it. Your super admin can also remove people from the account. Use the contact form on our homepage and we will respond. If you are in a region with data protection law, you may also have the right to object to or restrict some processing and to complain to your regulator.
See our Security page for how we protect information. Qwery is for businesses and adults; it is not directed at children.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where it affects you materially, tell you.
